Along the canal 'Zuid-Willemvaart'

Some 6 miles (10km) southwest of the Dutch place called Weert we reach (along the canal 'Zuid-Willemvaart') the border where 'Limburg' meets 'Limburg'.

From Weert along the main road  N215  we reach the former border-crossing after approx. 10km.

Same view, however now we can see the Dutch border pole next to the road.

Coming from Weert we have just left Dutch 'Limburg' province  N747  towards the Belgian place Bree, yet the Limburg people welcome us again.

And looking back towards the Netherlands, a similar board with same inscription can be seen, yet the Dutch Limburgers now welcome us.

From Belgian territory we look back towards the Netherlands, with the canal on the right and a former customs-agent house on the left.
