(38) - Grossrosseln (D) - Petite-Rosselle (F)

--> Rosseln - Rosselle:

The historic town of Rosseln on the river Rossel, a left arm of the river Saar, was founded back in 1290. In 1326 the division in two places left and right of the river becomes a fact.Trennung in die beiden heutigen Ortschaften rechts und links der Rossel. Today the river marks the state boundary between Germany and France, but Petite-Rosselle and Großrosseln are twin-towns (jumelage) since 1966.
