| Bray Dunes (F): The French coastal resort Bray-Dunes is the northernmost town of France, and resembles - as far as situation and architecture is concerned - very much the places along the Belgian coast, however the language is French only. Driving from Dunkirk (F) on the old N1 along the "Canal de Dunkerque à Furnes" you reach after Zuydcoote the new fly-over that leads to Bray Dunes. Don't follow the signs towards the beach "Bray-Dunes Plage", but take the D60 through Bray-Dunes Centre to the border. Most travelers however follow the old N1 (F) / N39 (B) or take the new motorway E40 from Calais to Ostende, and don't pass by Bray-Dunes at all. F-59... Bray-Dunes B-8660 Adinkerke |
